Pigeon is progressing a high quality design and landscape led mixed use scheme on Land South of Saxmundham, incorporating new homes (including affordable housing and custom/self-build), employment provision (including roadside services), a community hub, primary school and pre-school provision, extensive open space and associated infrastructure.

A planning application for the South Saxmundham Garden Neighbourhood (SSGN) has now been submitted for the following proposal: Hybrid planning application to include: (a) full permission for the primary drainage infrastructure and associated construction access; and (b) outline planning permission (all matters reserved except access) for residential development [up to 800 dwellings], employment and community development, roadside services, land for Primary School and Pre-school, and associated development including open space, Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space (SANG), infrastructure, landscaping and associated works (development to be brought forwards in phases).
